CRICKET THE IPL WAY

ipl has changed the way this gentleman's game (not anymore) will be played in the future. it has changed the dynamics of the game completely with more focuz on public entertainment and with so much money involved by the corporates and team owners, it will be more commercial rather than a purist's delight.

indeed it was subhash chandra who with his ICL showed them the way but mr modi capitalised it with big names and maybe even bigger coffers!!! i hope that the two will come together in the future so that right talent can get reckoning (if there is any left)!!!

maybe some months from now, even a one day international may look boring to say the least and maybe the only alternative will be playing two t20 games instead of one ODI. as for test matches, it has no chance to survive at all.
